Appearance and Construction
The LC-100 turnstile body has been designed with sleek, modern looks to fit today's world. The main body is constructed from 10 gauge (0.135) carbon steel with a ¼” thick base plate. Both are protected with a tough industrial-grade black powder coat finish (custom colors or Satin-stainless available). The hinge and top cover are made of type 304-brushed stainless steel. The top cover of the LC-100 has space to mount special card readers, indicator lights, and/or other add-ons.

Durable and reliable, with an easy to service mechanism
The LC-100 uses www.TURNSTILES.us' heavy-duty mechanism, which was designed and built to withstand the abuse of a modern-day, high-traffic subway station. The components are fabricated both from hot rolled steel and stainless steel. All steel parts are coated with black oxide and oil for protection. All shafts and pivot points are stainless steel and rotate about bronze or ball bearings. The turnstile mechanism is field upgradeable to add a variety of options. Servicing of the LC-100 turnstile is simple and efficient. All parts are easily reached without the removal of the mechanism from the cabinet, and most servicing takes only a matter of minutes. Stainless Steel Cabinet
The stainless steel option replaces the powder coated carbon steel cabinet and base plate with brushed 304 stainless steel.

Portable Feature
The portable feature includes a 3/8” thick diamond tread plate with an industrial powder coat finish (also available in 304 Stainless Steel). A 304 satin stainless steel guide railing is attached to the plate to create a passageway. This portable unit comes with a pair of wheels for easy relocation of the turnstile.

Internal Counter
The LC-100 internal counter has a large eight-digit liquid crystal display and is powered by an internal lithium battery. It may be ordered for reset or non-reset. The Model LC-100 may be ordered with one or two counters.

Electric Unlocking
The unlocking feature adds solenoid control, allowing for the use of a card reader or other type of access control device. The control solenoid operates at 24VDC for safe operation. The electric unlocking option includes a control board that handles a time-out feature, and has the ability to control other turnstile functions such as lights, displays, audible alarms, etc.

Fail-Safe
The fail-safe option provides a battery back-up system in the event of a power failure. This option allows the turnstile to continue functioning during a power failure.

Additional Switches
Additional switches may be added to activate counters in a remote location. The LC-100 may be ordered with one extra switch for each direction.
