ALVARADO OVERHEAD COUNTING SYSTEMS Monitor Patron Movement Within Your Facility The latest innovation in counting technology is here. Alvarado's Overhead Counting Systems provide highly accurate patron counts at key areas within large venues, without the use of turnstiles. By carefully measuring movement of people passing through doorways or corridors at important locations within your facility, you'll get a clearer picture of where patrons go once they're inside. With a properly installed Overhead Counting System, plus Alvarado's GateWatch software, you'll have the ability to view in-facility counts in real time from your desktop PC. GateWatch also provides reports from historical data to help you analyze pedestrian traffic volume by time of day and day of the week. This important information can help you determine optimum staffing levels, and can be used to compare patron volumes to sales totals from point-of-sale systems. Which System Is Right For Your Venue? Alvarado offers two different types of overhead sensor technology. The best system for you depends on application issues such as the expected traffic pattern and ambient lighting conditions. HOW OUR OVERHEAD COUNTING SYSTEMS WORK - The OPS System utilizes artificial intelligence with a highly advanced system algorithm to track patrons moving within the counting area. The system has the ability to "learn" the traffic pattern of an installation to effectively deal with extremely complex counting situations such as loitering crowds.
- Model ZS Sensors transmit and receive data using reflective sensing, based on infrared transceiver technology. Multiple sensors are mounted within one or more modular fixtures. These groups of sensors form "zones", through which movement is detected and output as counts. ZS Sensors work well in virtually all ambient lighting conditions.
Alvarado's ZS and OPS systems come with standard housings that conform nicely to most facility locations. Custom housings can be fabricated to match various decors. |
