Grand Prix electrically operated turnstile is specially designed for access control applications involving excessive traffic volume and abuse. The electrically operated mechanism is specified by the New York City Transit Authority and specially adapted to access control applications. Independently controlled entrance and exit can be made fail-safe or fail-lock. Self-centering, cushioned mechanism automatically returns arms assembly to home position, ensuring accurate count and record of passage. Cabinet constructed of 16 gauge 304 stainless steel, polished to a 4B finish. Lockable stainless steel cover with concealed hinge. 24 VDC operating system.

Time-out Relay | Relay to automatically relock turnstile if a person cards in and unlocks turnstile but does not go through. |
Indicator Lights | Set of red and green lights to indicate if turnstile is locked or unlocked. One set available per electrically controlled direction. |
Remote Pushbutton | Allows turnstile to be released from remote location for one rotation. |
Free or Locked Exit | Exit always locked or always free rotating. |
Pulse Relay | Allows one rotation per valid "go" signal regardless of the signal length. |
Serial Port Interface | Allows operation of the turnstile with a serial port output instead of momentary normally open dry contact. |
