Designed to provide access control to unsupervised installations. Rugged construction ensures trouble-free performance and durability. Heavy duty mechanism can be mechanical or self-centering and electrically operated. A second set of electrical controls can be added for exit. Any combination of fail-lock or fail-safe is available. Turnstile can be fabricated from anodized aluminum with stainless steel arms (THT-100A), or complete stainless steel (THT-100S). Hot dipped galvanized steel (THT-100C), or powder coated steel (THT-100CP) are also available. The THT-100(3) has 3 rotor sections for 120 degrees of passage space, thereby allowing greater comfort in use. Bottom thrust bearing is dust and moisture proof. Open construction shield minimizes claustrophobic effect and increases visual security. Low voltage 24 VDC operating system requires normally open, momentary, dry contact to release turnstile. Clear anodized aluminum with stainless arms model THT-100EA is shown above.
Indicator Lights | Set of red and green lights to indicate if turnstile is locked or unlocked. One set per electrically controlled direction. |
Electrical Controls | Electrical controls for entry only, exit only or independent bi-directional electrical controls for both entry and exit. |
Heel Protectors | Heavy duty foam rubber sleever to cover bottom turnstile arms. Three required for THT-100(3). |
Free or Locked Operation | For mechanical operation, direction is always locked or always free rotating. |
Remote Pushbutton | Allows turntile to be released from remote location for one rotation. |
Electronic Key Bypass | Key to allow turnstile to be held open, overriding card reader. |
Mechanical Key Bypass | Key to allow fail-lock direction to be opened during power failure. Standard feature for fail-lock applications. |
Out of Use Lock | for mechanical turnstile, loops on turnstile to allow turnstile to be locked using a padlock. |
Solenoid Activation Switch | Provide a Form "C" contact closure to access control system that turnstile solenoid has been activated. |
Card Reader Mounting Plate | Plate to allow mounting of reder on shield post. |
Hydraulic Speed Control | Heavy duty shock and gear system that controls rotation speed of turnstile to minimize turnstile abuse and provide increased ease of use. Specifically designed for high volume, abusive conditions. |
Pulse Relay | Allows one rotation per valid "go" signal regardless of the signal length. |
Ceiling Canopy | Full circular stainless steel ceiling canopy instead of standard partial ceiling plate. |
Voltage | Transformer to step down from 110 VAC or 220 VAC. |
Time-out Relay | Relay to automatically relock turnstile within a preset time if a person cards in and unlocks turnstile but does not go through. |
Rotation Detection Switch | Provides a Form "C" contact closure to access control system for remote counting and monitoring of turnstile rotations. |
Home Position Switch | Provides a Form "C" contact closure to access control system when a turnstile is in home position. |
Fail-lock or Fail-safe | For electrically controlled direction. Status of turnstile when there is no power. Fail-lock direction is locked, fail-safe is free wheeling. |
