Patented WATCHMAN 2000* Provides Overhead Protection For Warehouses, Distribution Centers

Chino, CA--Alvarado's patented Watchman 2000 collision avoidance alarm is attracting plenty of attention among those concerned with safety in the warehouse.

Priced at approximately 25% of the cost of a typical repair to an overhead door, the Watchman is designed to hang in front of and slightly below overhead doors and fixtures, to warn drivers of forklifts or overheight vehicles of impending collisions. When contact is made with the Watchman, flashing red lights and a 120 decibel siren are triggered, alerting the driver to stop before damage occurs from impact with the fixture.

The industrial grade sensor technology used in the Watchman 2000 causes the device to alarm whenever it is struck or pushed, yet is not activated by normal wind gusts. The Watchman uses no mercury switches, so it's suitable for use in food processing and packaging environments.
